Here are seven alumni stories that caught our attention this week.

Nile research puts healthcare networking and security under the spotlight

Nile — IT Brew | 2023 & 2024 Networking Trailblazers runner-up

Nile has released new research examining networking, security and AI in healthcare, based on responses from more than 300 healthcare IT leaders, C-level executives and network and security practitioners worldwide.

The findings have generated industry attention. Around 85% of organisations surveyed said they experience network or security disruptions frequently, while only 20% said they were confident their networks could contain a cyber incident. IT Brew also highlighted the workforce dimension, with healthcare IT professionals reporting understaffing, constant firefighting and burnout pressures.

CoreView exposes the Microsoft 365 ‘maturity illusion’

CoreView’s new 2026 State of Microsoft 365 Security report has been picked up by Cyber Magazine, and some of the findings make for sobering reading.

While 62% of surveyed organisations rated their Microsoft 365 security maturity as established or advanced, CoreView found that 54% of that confident group were still missing at least one foundational security control. The research also found that 66% of organisations had delayed or cancelled Microsoft Copilot deployments, with data-governance concerns playing a major role.

CoreView was a 2020 Cloud Trailblazers runner-up, and this latest research illustrates how cloud management has evolved into an increasingly important security, identity and AI-governance challenge. Lightbits Labs brings Okta identity controls into enterprise storage

Amperity and AWS make the case for trusted, real-time customer data

Amperity has been back in the technology press this week alongside AWS, sharing practical lessons on how enterprises can prepare customer data for an increasingly AI-driven future.

Drawing on a session from Amperity’s Amplify 2026 conference, the discussion focused on moving beyond batch processing and combining historical customer profiles with live behavioural signals. The bigger prize, the companies argue, is trusted and governed customer context that can be used consistently by marketing, operations, customer-care teams and, increasingly, AI agents.

Behavox builds on 213% European ARR growth with new Milan office

Behavox is deepening its presence in continental Europe with a new office in Milan, which the company expects to become a regional headquarters and one of its largest global offices.

The expansion follows 213% growth in European ARR over the past two years, as well as an 86% increase in its worldwide customer base during 2025. It also follows the $175 million preferred equity investment Behavox secured from HPS Investment Partners, part of BlackRock, in June.
