Firestarter Trailblazers 2021 – Shortlist

With just a few weeks until our virtual awards ceremony on 8th December, the 10th edition of the Tech Trailblazers Awards is full steam ahead.

We’ve seen a substantial 40% uptick in entries from 2020, indicating the growing value of online awards for the enterprise tech startup ecosystem in an increasingly virtual world.

The Firestarter Trailblazers bursary is for non-VC backed startups up to three years old. It was created to ensure that entry fees wouldn’t be a barrier for the new lean startups who are still securing major funding from VCs. The program aims to attract more earlier stage startups within the accelerator and incubator communities as well as those self-funding or with angel, seed, and crowd-funding as their primary source of investment.

Congratulations to this year’s Firestarter finalists:

The 2020 Firestarter Trailblazers

Learn more about 2020 Firestarter Trailblazer, Codastra, by listening to our #FoundersOnFire podcast with Co-Founder, Grace Waters. She tells us about the rapid development of what is still an early-stage startup, including the challenges they’ve faced in terms of being pulled in many directions whilst finding their way forward to launch the world’s first microservice migration solution. She also touches upon the FFWD pre-accelerator programme and how useful that was for Codastra’s development.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 8th December, starting 08:30 PT / 16:30 GMT / 17:30 CET.
